The Extension uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save your preferences (e.g., whether filtering is enabled, whether to hide Shorts). This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Permissions

The Extension requests the following permissions:

storage: To save your preferences locally
host_permissions (youtube.com): To modify the YouTube page and filter videos based on upload date

Third Parties

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.
